Sydney Lafond’s trumpet playing for LBJB exudes the sincerity and kindness she brings to everything she does. She graduated with a Bachelor of Music in integrated studies with a minor in psychology at the University of Calgary in 2020
Sydney works with clients who have developmental disabilities, and is currently working on her Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy at Queen’s University. Having played with large ensembles throughout university including the Foothills Philharmonic Orchestra, she enjoys playing with a more intimate and fun party band; and LBJB benefits from her kindness, work ethic and steadfast musicianship.
